At St. John's we have a strong commitment to the role of small groups in our congregation. Small groups provide an opportunity to get to know (approximately 10) people well. As relationships develop much care, support, encouragement and fun follow.
Studying the scriptures together allows us to grow and develop our relationship to God. Social activities and times of fellowship mean we simply enjoy each other's company.
In times of need and difficulty the small group becomes a safe haven where individuals are cared for and supported. They are the primary focus for Pastoral care.
All small group are led by trained and supported leaders who are called by God to this exciting and significant ministry.
