Children and Families  
 

St. John's offers a variety of activities for children and families. Here is a brief outline of some of our regular activities. For more information about these programs, please contact the Parish Office.

During the week:

Playgroups

Held every Monday to Thursday during school term from 10 - 11:30am in St. John’s Church hall.

Mainly Music

A developmental music program for pre-schoolers. This is held every Friday during school term from 10 - 11:30am in St. John’s Church hall.

Kidsplus
Held every 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings during school terms at St. John's Church hall.

Sunday mornings:

Toddler Time

For children under 3 years – this program runs concurrently with the 9:30am service.

Kingfishers

(Sunday School) for 4 year olds to Grade 5 – held in the church hall concurrently with the 9:30am service.

Swamp
(Sunday School) with special activities for years 6 to 8 held concurrently with the 9:30am service.

Tool Box Parenting Courses:

A fun, interactive, practical course exploring key parenting principles.
6 Sessions over 6 weeks covering three different age groups.

  • Early Years (0-5)
  • Middle Years (6-12)
  • Teenage years (12+)
